The other day I had a clear night for testing in the observatory and asked for suggestions for what to image.
I suggested LBN 438, and I'm pleased to report that my sky cooperated. Here is 12.8 hours over two successive nights: <http://astronomy.mdodd.com/nebulae-33.html>

Clear and steady skies with good seeing. Maxim's guiding error was around 0.4 arcsec on both axes of my 1200 mount.

Comments welcome.
