Todd,
At the bottom of the "Advanced WiFi Settings" tab, click the radio button "Create the Access Point..." to choose a different default behavior. This can always be changed to "Retry..." later, but for now, we're just trying to rescue your connection from what appears to be a very confused WiFi module. Cycle power, then wait a couple minutes to see if the internal access point appears. If not, then are more brute force means to rescue the connection. If so, then see if the "Initializing Wi-Fi" is gone and your network appears in the list.
