It is 25 miles from Comanche Springs - 3RF. It has a Texas Tech University Mesonet weather station on the property, which is great to have. The link is below.

I will not be doing remote. I am getting a 40 foot container cabin with a 12 foot heated air conditioned observatory control room overlooking the scopes. I like to use minimal software and do everything manually - just using image capture, guiding and TheSky. I will have a comfortable place to live while imaging.

So a little west of Crowell and probably not all that far from
the observatory complex. Probably a good choice if they chose the area too. That would be a good hour further than Ft. Griffin. Do you plan on having it be remotely operated? Kent
