Send the mount to Park3 via APCC. Then loosen the clutches and manually move it so that the counterweight shaft is pointing straight down and scope is pointing to the north pole.
Next, send the scope via GoTo to a known object, center it and press Recal. Now send the mount back to Park3, place a piece of tape across both the RA and Dec axes and slit it at the seam and mark with a sharpie. This will then mark forever the actual position of Park 3 and should be accurate enough to re-create every time that you de-clutch the mount and move it for any reason.

I have an AP1200 mount that is my pride and joy but I change equipment around and as a result loose the solution when I declutch to make changes in balance. Does someone (hint Ray) have a quick and dirty or am I forever destined to redo the run. I see the X5 solution but does that reset anything?
