Model running tonight, and what do you know... that halo IS there on this system as well. Since its not Astro Dark, I bet it goes away later as I did not see it previously but it was well into Astro Dark then.

I took some flats and just looked and the OIII flats show the halo as well. So, has nothing to do with my GTX+Flattener (not that I thought it did).

Yeah I took it all apart when I put the DK out. Next time I have the GTX up I will investigate further. It will probably disappear, whatever it was.

Should also show up in your flat field image.

Very little changes needed with the field flattener. I did have this strange halo appear in my frames that I can only reproduce with the flattener. The Quad TCC doesnt show it, and my DK doesnt show anything either with the exact same spacers, adapters, and focuser (NiteCrawler).

I'm thinking Field Flattener which gives more leeway for any tilt, and has higher resolution. Although resolution is probably not an issue with those tiny pixels.

I'm working out the QHY600 + 7x50mm filter wheel on my 130GTX+QTCC right now. Long story short, the focal ratio made traditional tilt correction impossible to do and so I'm awaiting delivery of a CTU from Gerd Neumann, which should have arrived today but FedEx seem to have decided to start competing with UPS in my area for least reliable delivery.

Once I get that on with proper backspacing (I might be able to use an existing part I have, else it's another ~25 day wait for something from Precise Parts) I will hopefully be in business.

Bill's right, the IMX455 sensor that is in the QHY600/ZWO ASI6200 is an astounding performer and blows every prior generation of CMOS clean out of the water. Once the tilt and backfocus demon is tamed, that is.
