Yes, folks, that’s Astrophysicist Barbie!  She came out this summer as part of a series sponsored by National Geographic (others include Wildlife Conservationist Barbie, Polar Marine Biologist Barbie, etc).  I’ve attached a pic of AP Barbie at AIC.  We altered her Newtonian to be an AP Mak-Cass ‘cause Barbie’s cool like that.

Marj, Roland, and I are all passionate about education for girls, most especially in STEM fields and were delighted when Astro Barbie came out!  She’s not rare at all.  Check out Amazon as a great gift idea for the girls in your life.  For those who want to meet AP Barbie in person, she’ll be joining us at NEAIC/NEAF in April.
