Re: why when I plate solve is my APCC RA off by an hour

After plate solving I moved the mount via APCC back an hour and found the Crab and centered it by imaging, thenIf you plate solved the coordinates that would result in an absolute RA/Dec sky position. If you were off by one hour then you could plate solve and sync (probably all-sky). Rememeber to temporarily turn off "Prevent Errant Recals" in APCC's Advanced settings. As to why it happened is a mystery. APCC reads the time and time zone from your computer. Maybe your computer didn't update itself properly if it's not running the latest Windows 10 updates. Or, are you running an old version of APCC or the driver? -Ray Gralak Author of APCC (Astro-Physics Command Center): http://www.astro-physics.com/index.htm?products/accessories/software/apcc/apcc Author of PEMPro V3: https://www.ccdware.com Author of Astro-Physics V2 ASCOM Driver: https://www.siriusimaging.com/apdriver -----Original Message-----
