I have always used StanSport pop-up privacy shelters for
short-term protection of scopes and such from weather, sunlight and
sticky fingers before/during/after star parties and outreach
events.
You can pop them up in seconds and pop over the scope like a
cap and they conceal the shape of a scope inside, besides offering some air
space and air flow when out in the sun.
There are a lot of knock-off's out there
too.
The model listed above fits just fine over my 1100GTO and
C14.
