I realize I was not clear in exposing the behavior of my Mach1GTO when connected to TSX through AP ASCOM V2 driver.

Indeed the virtual handbox in TheSkyX « Telescope » sheet does what it is supposed to do : Clicking on a direction Arrow will move the mount in the choosen direction, releasing the mouse button will stop the movement. This is all fine. However, the message « Slewing… » will remain after releasing the mouse button and will prevent any subsequent « Slew » command from TheSkyX, popping up a message saying a move is still in progress.

Workaround is to issue a « Disconnect » command in « Telescope » then « Connect » again to clear this endless « Slewing … » state.

I reported this misbehavior on SB forum, but since this behavior doesn’t show up with SB native driver for Astrophysics , I suspect they consider this is not a TheSkyX bug. From my side I don’t want to revert to SB native driver as I vastly prefer the possibilities offered by AP ASCOM driver.

This is not a major bug as the workaround is simple and takes a few seconds, but I see good chance there of this behavior to never been tracked down as you can legitimely assume it is a TheSkyX bug whils SB most certainly considers it is an AP ASCOM driver bug.

If there is anything I can do as experiment to help characterizing this behavior please let me know.

I don't think that is what Dan reported. He said the mount stopped after he released the button.

In your case it sounds like you have not configured the AP V2 ASCOM driver correctly for TheSkyX. You probably need to enable "ASCOM RA MoveAxis = 0 Stops Tracking" in the Advanced settings:
