Then I assume that the same thing should have happened on my machine.
 
Maybe I'll try to re-install the driver.
 
I do all astro-proggy installs in administrative mode and run them in administrative mode as well.  However maybe that isn't the correct approach with the AP driver.

Mine installed automatically when I installed the AP driver.

Does the RAPAS utility automatically install with APCC or is this a separate
install? I don't yet have a RAPAS.

Unfortunately it's not likely a problem with the driver. The button click is
a single line of code to launch the RAPAS
utility so it is probably a corrupted or missing DLL on your computer. It
could also be a be a virus checker or other
utility blocking background launches of another application (which in this
case is the A-P RAPAS).
