The problem that you are having has nothing whatsoever to do with what is
inside the CP3. That chip was added years ago to prevent lightning strikes
that could cause damage to the microchips. It protects all the incoming pins.
There is no reason that you need to open the cover of the CP3, it will not
cure your problems, whatever they may be.

If you are having pointing issues, then I would look for user errors. It is
not the electronics causing your mount to not point where you want. The
electronics either work, or they don't work. There is no in between. In your
case, the electronics work perfectly. No need to mess with it.

no do not want to mess with electronics absolutely wanted to know if it was correct that chip now that you've explained are very quiet!
I just wanna know how to solve my problem.
so if all the electronics work properly what else is not working because it gives me these errors?
What can we do to try to figure out what else is part of the error?
