Actually, AP uses a special "LUBRIPLATE 105" grease.
Shouldn't a tube of that come with a mount, and be available as an accessory.
Or at least tell us where to buy it.

I assume this was an AP "specially chosen and tested lubricant", after
those cold winter tests Roland described in the manual (Slewing Your Mount In
Below Freezing Temperatures).

Once a year lubricate the gears inside and outside with a thin
white lithium grease.
Sorry for my ignorance: Is lithium better than molybdenum grease? I
don't know when one select the one for the other.
